Basic Care Guide

Light

Avoid Direct Sunlight. A location near a window with filtered light is ideal. It is advisable to rotate the plant periodically to ensure even growth and exposure to light.

Water

Phalaenopsis like to be kept fairly moist, do not over-water.

Water once or twice a week, depending on the potting medium and air circulation.

Test the moisture: When the medium feels dry, it’s time to water.

Temperature

Temperature Range: 18°C to 25°C.

Fertilizer

To encourage flowering, apply high-potassium liquid orchid food every 2 weeks (or according to the instructions)

Bloom Cycle

Phalaenopsis orchids typically bloom once to three times a year, with each bloom lasting from weeks to months, depending on the conditions. Once the flowers fade, the spike can be cut back to a node to encourage reblooming.
